About the Architect

Hello. My name is Nicole Lakra – a Colorado-licensed Architect. I am originally from Hollywood, Florida. I  grew up in north Georgia and went to Architecture School at Southern Polytechnic State University (now called Kennesaw State University) from 1998-2004. I now live in southwest Denver, Colorado and have for the past 11 years. I am a different breed of architect. Like other architects, I got my Bachelors of Architecture, completed my mandatory internship through the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and took my Architectural Registration Examination (ARE 3.0) in 2015. However, since 2006, I have spent the majority of my time working independently and raising my kids.

In the work I do, there are design priorities I will not sacrifice. The biggest priority is value for the client. I believe wholeheartedly in accessible, high quality, design – regardless of budget or square footage. As a result, not only do I respect your time and money; I find it a matter of my integrity to give you the highest quality design so that you get the most value.

I am a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA).
